Distance should not decide how fast your service feels

Kazakhstan covers thousands of kilometres, yet most companies still answer every request from servers in one city. Cloudflare serves content from points of presence near the user and filters attack traffic in the same pass. We design that setup and keep operating it.

  • Content delivered from 330+ cities
  • Enabled one site at a time, not all at once
  • A measurable result: page load time by region
Capabilities

The Cloudflare services we deliver

Four product families combined into one architecture. Projects here usually open with delivery speed and branch connectivity, because those show measurable results fastest.

Delivery speed and filtering

Images and pages are served from a node near the user, and unwanted requests are stopped in the same place.

  • Tiered caching with Cache Reserve
  • Image optimisation and resizing
  • WAF using managed and bespoke rules
  • DDoS protection with no volume cap

Access for distributed teams

Staff in a regional office reach the application they need directly, without first building a tunnel to head office.

  • Access for regional office applications
  • Gateway DNS filtering across every site
  • WARP for field and travelling staff
  • Cloudflare Tunnel from each location

Compute close to the user

Code and frequently requested data execute near whichever region is generating the traffic at that moment.

  • Workers running near each region
  • KV for shared configuration
  • R2 for large object storage
  • Hyperdrive to accelerate database calls

Connecting sites and regions

When the distances are large, routing decisions and load balancing produce results you can measure.

  • Argo Smart Routing over long distances
  • Load balancing between Almaty and Astana
  • Magic WAN linking branch networks
  • Cloudflare Network Interconnect

How we work

Measure first, then roll out site by site

Numbers are more useful than promises, so the work begins by measuring where you stand today.

  1. 1

    Measuring the current baseline

We measure page load times from Astana, Almaty and the regions, and record how much load your origin is carrying. Those figures become the comparison point for everything that follows.

  2. 2

    Rolling out site by site

Domains are enabled in sequence and branch locations are connected one after another. After each step the measurements are repeated before moving to the next.

  3. 3

    Continuous tuning

Routing and cache behaviour keep being adjusted against real traffic, and reports show the before and after figures side by side rather than a general summary.

FAQ

Common questions from Kazakhstan

Anything left unclear gets answered by the engineers who would run your setup.

Ask a question

For most services, yes. Filtering and caching only work when Cloudflare sits in the request path. Partial options exist: keep your registrar, delegate selected subdomains, or use a CNAME setup on higher plans.

Yes, and during a transition that is common. Some domains can go through Cloudflare while the rest stay with your existing provider, which lets us compare real numbers before committing. What we avoid is chaining two CDNs on the same hostname, since cache behaviour then becomes hard to predict.

For internal web applications it usually can, and distributed teams benefit most since there is no tunnel to a central office. WARP handles what genuinely needs a client, and older protocol-bound systems are assessed case by case.

Protecting one web property normally fits within a week, including the DNS move and a period where rules only observe. Branch connectivity and Zero Trust take longer, commonly two to four weeks depending on how many sites are involved.

Managed plans provide agreed response times, monthly reporting on traffic and blocked threats, and ongoing change management. If you prefer running it internally, we hand over documentation and train your administrators.
